To further my research in digipaks, I am going to analyse 3 digipaks from the dubstep genre, which is the genre we chose to do for our music video.
I could only find the front and the back cover of the 4 page digipak, so I will analyse those instead. It is quite a simple cover, with a black and white picture of a pitbull and the words Chase And Status over it in capitals in a bright, contrasting yellow colour. This is quite random, which could possible represent Chase and Statuses random nature in their appearance and music.
The front cover of Magnetic Mans digipak is quite plan, only having an odd silver object in the front in the shape of an M and their classic text for Magnetic Man, which represents the group as quite modern and gives a futuristic feel to it.
This Katy B digipak has a pretty feel to it, as the background which is a portrait of Katy B is tinted to a blue and purple colour which fades into each other. These colours are quite feminine and help represent as a dubstep genre due to the modern font of the text, but still broadening out into other genres as it is quite ambiguous the front cover.
