Unfortunately I sprained my foot so I wasn't in the this class discussion, however I took it upon myself to do a little bit of research about it.

DIGIPAK

A Digipak is a patented style of CD, DVD or BD packaging, and is a registered trademark of AGI World Ltd., which is an Atlas Holdings company. Digipaks typically consist of a book-style paperboard or card stock outer binding, with one or more plastic trays capable of holding a CD or DVD attached to the inside
. Digipaks can variety from a 4 page fold out digipak or even a 8 page fold out digipak, depending on the artist and how many CD's are in there. Occasionally, there are special features included within the digipak, such as a book of lyrics or a book of pictures relating to the artist or something else random depending on the genre. Digipaks are usually nicely decorated and are often used for CD singles or special editions of CD albums. However, one downside to a digipak is that it is more prone to abrasion than the CD jewel cases, so it shows signs of wear and tear quickly.

Until then!
