Evaluation 3- How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation.

The use of media technology is of utmost important in the construction, research, planning, and evaluation stages of the media course work. I explored and made use of various aspects of media technology during the making of my course work. Below is the illustration as well as explanation of the media technologies that I have used. Brand new State of the art video cameras using memory cards.
N.B I mentioned the tripod in my illustration but it is not a piece of technology.

 In addition to using cameras to film the music video, I used the camera to capture the artist from different angles i.e. high angles and low angles. The camera was also useful in getting the dancers from different angles.

Blogger for research, planning and evaluation.

Blogger is versatile and it is the back bone of this coursework. In addition to the illustration above,  I used blogger as a reference point i.e. I looked back at my blog to remind me of my plan while I was filming and editing.
Also, it is easily accessible which makes it easier for me to work at college and to update my work using my phone as well as updating and keeping in touch with my work from home.
Furthermore, seeing that blogger allows feedback from moderators, teachers and other students, this helps me to create and produce a good piece of work having taking on feedback from teachers.
Blogger also allows me to keep an electronic and multi-media diary of my work and to record ongoing inspirations and ideas.It also helps me to be exposed to a wide range of ideas.

Animatic/ Digital story board

I preparation and planning for the music video, I made an animatic story board. This is to give me an idea of how to make the real music video and how the scenes will be arranged. I pulled up some locations on the screen on the computer, held up some dolls to it and took a picture of them. I then took the pictures to Final Cut Pro and made a video out of them.
