As a group we all decided to present a song that should be short listed. I presented RD, Mehdi showed us Low Key, Kehinde short listed V9 Collective while Stephanie showed us The Noisetts.

After we saw and heard each other's songs we then had a big discussion that went of for a while about what song we should choose for our final choice. For me I did not know in my head I always wanted our song to be up beat so I did not really like V9 collective as I thought it was to slow and it went on for 6 long minutes but the song had no video so that was a  The Noisetts for me I thought was a cute song but When I thought Of the concept we could do I found out that the video would be very basic and common and I did not want a boring video that everyone else would make. As a video Director I always think you should try and add something special to the vdeo to set it apart from it's counterpart's.

I really liked Mehdi Choice of song Low Key - My Soul. I really liked the song as it was very positive and the lyrics had lot's of imagery that we could use to make a video with. The original video itself was really good. The video was shot in Cuba and had many different shot's of Cuban people, shops, beaches and animals. The Mis En Scene is focused on the setting and locations of cuba and low keys performance. The video is very simple in narrative but there are different editing like the black and white shot's and the effect that makes part's of the video look like snaps shot's, I also love the angle they shot of low key when he is laying on the beach.

The girls did not really like the song I think they jus did not like the genre and also we thought about what we could do if we did choose My soul we would have to have gotten so many different shot's and we thought That would be hard work so we crossed that out. Now we are left with nothing =[

After much discussion we decided to look through the internet and just try and find a song that none of us picked for our shortlist. While searching I had a song in my head it was Nero's - innocence.
