Research for Music Video: Psychographic profile

In media today, we watched an old 80's short documentary that informed us of the 4 types of audiences there are when it comes to consumers of music videos. Here is just a brief summary of them:

Aspirers: Have a need for status and status symbols, they have a love for cash and credit cards with no interest in job security. They read the latest magazines, have the latest technology, don't save their money, love the food things in life. They want to make their status and symbol clear.

Mainstreamers: They have a need for security. They have a plan for the future: they have a pension. Although they like brands they don't want to stand out from the crowd, they want to go with the flow. It makes up about 40% of the population

Reformers: Their quality of life is mor important than the quality of possessions. They are most interesting in intellectual self-fulfillment.

Succeders: Have already achieved status and are already in control of their lives. Unlike Aspirers, they have the money and don't feel the need to show it off.

Until then!
