Our group worked really well on dropping our own first ideas to come together and pick one song that we all thought had what it takes to be the song for our up and coming music video. We decided to go with Innocence because it was very different and nobody our class was doing their song in the dub step genre so it set itself apart form the rest. I am a dancer and I loved this song because I had great ideas on how we could incorporate dance into our video. The video for the original songs contains footage of what looks like anime movie that includes fighting, guns, explosions and has that concept of good vs evil. So as the video is such a disjuncture from the song we also thought of making our video different to the lyrics and meaning of the song but not going to crazy =].
My idea of the video is not clear but I do know what I want the dancing to be like. I told the group I had this big idea of having a dancer dancing and then while they dancing edit it so that the moves they done goes backwards. I really think it would be a great idea and the song itself goes up and down sometimes it's slow and normal then other part's the beat drops and it get's louder the beat is faster. So I think the edited dancing would work very well with the music and it will also be impressive for the audience to see.
